Inverse Property of Addition is the Sum of a number x and its negative -x is always zero.

Here zero is called the additive identity and x and -x are the additive inverses of each other.

For Examples

x+(-x)=0

Where x is an arbitrary number.

We can use furthermore examples

2+(-2)=0

If we add a number to its counter number then the answer will be zero. where zero is the additive identity.

In the above example, 2 is a number -2 is its counter number. These two numbers are equal but opposite in sign, therefore the answer will be zero.

Example:2

-7+7=0

If we add a number to its counter number then the answer will be zero. where zero is the additive identity.

In the above example, -7 is a number 7 is its counter number. These two numbers are equal but opposite in sign, therefore the answer will be zero.

Similarly, we can do this for every number.
